Pay only for cloud voice generation.
A monthly or yearly subscription provides 10,000 successful-generation characters per UTC calendar month. A consumable pack adds 5,000 permanent characters. Subscription allowance is used first; there is no free real-time cloud-generation allowance.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account settings. Prices and availability are shown by the App Store and app for your region.
Privacy, in plain language
Your practice is not a public post.
On your device
Recordings, raw and edited transcripts, native input, reference English, history, Speak calendar, selected locale, and successful reference-audio caches stay in the app container. Delete items or clear history in the app.
Permissions and recognition
Microphone is used only for recording you start. Speech Recognition supports transcription. Speech and Translation are on-device when supported; availability varies by device, language, and resources. A legacy network-Speech fallback requires a separate explicit alert before audio can leave the device.
Optional cloud generation
The controlled Cloudflare gateway receives revised English, voice/synthesis parameters, signed StoreKit transactions, a stable appAccountToken, idempotency data, and App Attest data. ElevenLabs receives revised English and voice parameters, never original recordings.
Storage and purchases
Cloudflare D1 stores account, transaction, request-digest, quota, security, and timing metadata. Private R2 stores generated audio for idempotent replay with approximately 24-hour lifecycle deletion. Local persistent cache is separate. Apple processes payments; full card details are not sent to SoloSpeak.
No advertising tracking
No third-party ads, sale of personal information, cross-app advertising tracking, or ATT prompt. App Attest protects paid endpoints and is not used for advertising.
Retention and contact
Server metadata is retained as needed for entitlement, security, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations; no exact automatic D1 retention period is claimed. Local deletion does not cancel a subscription or erase Apple purchase records.
